The lessons will be delivered as blended learning, where students learn in a physical group setting with live e-lecturers given by world-class lecturers as well as local tutor to support on-site. Learn more about our learning methods under Learning Model.
The courses are conducted by our Faculty partner, Lithan, a leading education provider for digital competencies in Asia, with the team of world class lecturers who are not only highly credible and qualified, but also are subject matter experts with industry expertise. Every course will have formative and summative assessments which contribute to a project where students are assessed based on their competencies demonstrated in project report and project presentation. For apprenticeship grading, please check below.
The Industry immersion program is a core component of our course curriculum, aimed at providing students industry exposure. Students will engage with the latest digital industry advancements through field trips to innovation centres, accelerators & think-tanks.
DWA sees significant importance in equipping our students with important soft-skills to not only excel in career, but also in their life. Our curriculum includes courses focusing on soft-skills. In addition, we have put together a Life Competency Program diving into values, habits, mindsets, and important soft-skills such as communication, leadership, self-development, and more.
The “UTMSpace City Centre Campus” is located at the heart of KL, next to Ampang Park LRT station, opposite Intermark, and 5-10 mins walk to KLCC.
We provide everything a student needs – classrooms, study spaces, canteen, with plenty of cafes/restaurants and activities within 10 mins walk. On top of that, students will have access to UTMSPACE/UTM libraries and other facilities.

We do not provide any loans, however, students with household income <RM8,000 are eligible to apply for the Deferred Payment Plan to study first, pay later. Students may defer a sum of RM5,000 program fees from first semester to second year of study. More information will be provided after you receive an offer for UTMSPACE IPDP.

Yes. Our program does not require prior knowledge as long as you fulfill the entry requirement.
Please refer to the E-Brochures of your interested program for the list of accepted qualifications and the corresponding entry requirements.
We accept any equivalent qualification not limited to those listed in the e-Brochure. Do check with our Learning Advisors for inquire about your particular qualification.
As the programs are conducted in English, students must have a minimum English level of Grade C in SPM, or MUET Band 1 or equivalent.
For Non-Malaysian candidates, prior to enrolling for the program, the applicants may sit for an English proficiency test conducted by the UTMSPACE’s Language Centre and obtain a PASS. In addition, students can also use the TOEFL (500) and IELTS (Band 5) results as a condition of admission to the programme.
If you do not meet the English requirements, UTMSPACE runs structured English programs for non-Malaysian students.
Not at the moment. Applications will tentatively be open to international students from June 2021 intake onwards.

You may progress onto the Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Business, but not Software Engineering or Digital Systems.

Our program is structured as a Professional, industry certification-ready program that is fully accredited and awarded by UTMSPACE, the private arm of UTM. Degree program FAQs
Our Degree program is a 4-year programme consisting of 1-year intensive class-learning and 3-years paid work-based learning. You will gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in the first year of study. In the second to fourth year of study, you will hone your digital expertise & soft-skills through work experience and gain deep digital industry insights.
Yes, there will be a direct course pathway into Professional Digital Master’s Programs which will begin in late 2021 or early 2022. Alternatively, you have the option of over a hundred international universities, such as in the UK or Australia.

Yes. The apprenticeship is a core component of our competency-based program as we believe that the best way to master digital competencies is to get exposure through real work experience.
In the second, third, and fourth year, students will be attached to one of our corporate partners and work as a full-time employee, while taking part-time lessons (7-10 hours per week). Apprenticeship placement for our students is guaranteed. You may refer to the Example Apprenticeship Companies here.
Yes. The apprenticeship will be a paid employment. At the same time, we will be providing a guaranteed allowance of RM22,400 by the end of your degree. This means that should any students’ income in the three years fall under RM22,400, DWA will provide an income subsidy (top-up).
DWA provides a guaranteed apprenticeship placement for all students. At the end of first year, students will be invited to interview with our internal network of industry partners and go through interview selection to be placed. You may refer to the Example Apprenticeship Companies here.
Yes. Students will undertake around 7-10 hours of lessons every week, usually arranged on one weekday evening and one day of the weekend.
70% of the grades will be accounted by their completion of apprenticeship; whereas the remaining 30% is assessed through the Apprenticeship Review where students prepare Apprenticeship Report and Presentation to evaluate their learning
The fees will be RM59,900 for domestic students and USD19,900 for international students. The fees payable will be 40% for the first year and 20% for subsequent years.
Our Degree program is accredited by UTMSpace. Upon graduation, you will receive Professional Degree certificate from UTMSpace as well as optional professional industry certification that you are eligible to sit for.
As our programs are based off industry-certifications, students will be ready to sit for relevant industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, SAP, PMI etc.
